Malayali Medical Student Killed In Uzbekistan After Fellow Student Hits Her With Laptop

The incident took place last week, after  a quarrel broke out between the two students. The accused man allegedly struck Savaryia on the head with a laptop, leading to the fatality.

Malayali Medical Student Killed In Uzbekistan After Fellow Student Hits Her With Laptop

Kerala: Amid altercation, a 22-year-old Kerala medical student in Uzbekistan was killed after fellow student, also from Kerala, hit her with laptop. The student, Savariya, was a native of Pilappuzha in Haripad in Alappuzha, while the accused, Sadharul Anam is a native of Perinthalmanna in Malappuram.

The authorities in Uzbekistan have arrested the accused fellow student. The incident took place last week, after  a quarrel broke out between the two students. The accused man allegedly struck Savaryia on the head with a laptop, leading to the fatality.

Savaria’s body was brought to India and reached New Delhi today. She is survived by her father, mother and younger brother.
