Man Murdered In Ramanattukara, Kozhikode After Alleged Assault And Attack: Accused Arrested.
Kozhikode, Kerala: A murder took place near the Ramanattukara flyover in Kozhikode. The body of a young man was found in an unused field near the flyover on Sunday and the police have launched an investigation. The victim has been identified as Shibin, a native of Kondotty.
According to the ward councillor and local residents, the area has become a hub for illegal activities. They claim that some individuals have been using the premises for drinking and drug use.
Police inspection of the field revealed evidence of such activities, including empty liquor bottles and leftover food.
The body was found with severe injuries, suggesting a brutal attack. The police are still trying to identify the whereabouts of the victim and are appealing to the public for information.
As per Manorama News, the police have arrested a suspect, Hijas who claims he acted in self-defence after the victim allegedly made unwanted advances towards him. However, the police are still investigating the case and are verifying Hijas’ claims.

The incident has shocked the local community as people started amassing the abode and the police are urging anyone with information about the case to come forward. The police are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area to gather more evidence.
