Prime Minister Narendra Modi held the first Cabinet meeting today and the main portfolios have been announced following that. Amit Shah, Modi’s right hand man and former BJP president retained his former Home Ministry, while Nirmala Sitharaman, Rajnath Singh, S Jaishankar and Nitin Gadkari got their previous ministries Finance, Defence, External Affairs and Transport respectively.
