'100% Truth With Proof': Rahul Gandhi Accuses EC Of Systematically Deleting Voters To Hurt Congress

New Delhi: On Thursday, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi alleged systematic voter deletion, stating that the names of voters were deleted using software, citing fake applications in Karnataka’s Åland constituency.

The Congress leader, while addressing a press conference, accused the election commission of large-scale vote theft, noting that around 6,018 names were deleted in Karnataka’s Åland alone.

The fraud was exposed only by chance when a booth-level officer discovered that even her own uncle’s vote had been removed from the rolls, the Congress leader pointed out.

The Congress leader claimed millions of names have been deliberately deleted from the voters’ list, adding that specific communities including Dalits, Tribals, minorities, and OBCs, who largely vote for the opposition are being singled out by the poll body.

The Congress leader asserted that everything he said was verifiable and based on evidence that can be determined and proven. He accused the EC of shielding what he described as the destroyer of democracy, adding that the poll panel was acting in a biased manner instead of ensuring free and fair elections.

The poll body is defending ‘murderers’ of democracy by not providing details of voter deletions, Rahul Gandhi said. The Congress MP further alleged that the identity of one ‘Suryakant’ was misused to file 12 fake vote deletion forms within 14 minutes.
