After the video of a heated argument between Karmala IPS officer Anjali Krishna and Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Prakash went viral, a political debate between power politics and administrative pressures has started. Now, another advancement came to the matter where the Maharashtra DCM’s National Congress Party (AP) MLA, Amol Mitkari, has written to the Union Public Service Commission to enquire about the educational and caste certificates submitted by the IPS Officer.

In a letter written to UPSC, NCP MLC, while expressing doubts on the qualification and the eligibility of the police officer Anjali Krishna, has requested the commission to hold an inquiry to check her credentials. The NCP leader has request UPSC to conduct an enquiry regarding her credentials and availing the report to the concerned departments.

The letter came in reponse when the IPS officer Anjana went to take actions after reproted dispute in the Karmala village of the illegal exavation of Red Soil. The excavators refused to stop their proceedings and called Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. The young IPS officer while denying to recognise the DCM refused to take action on someone else’s phone and directed him to call on her phone as part of the administrative procedure.
