A teacher from a private school in Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli brutally thrashed a class 10 student, leading to multiple injuries to the minor.
The student reportedly became unconscious, fell on the floor, and broke his teeth. The inappropriate ordeal was over the student’s incomplete homework, NDTV reported, citing police.
After the student collapsed on the floor, the teacher fled the site. As other students informed the principal about the incident, he immediately took the injured student to the hospital.

However, the police arrested the accused teacher, Mohammed Asif, on Wednesday. According to J.P. Sing, Salon Station House Officer (SHO), the student was assigned a homework in April, when the school was shut down for summer vacation. After the vacation, when the teacher asked him about the work, the student said he could not complete the homework due to some personal issues, leading to the teacher’s anger, which resulted in him losing his temper. The teacher then beat the boy with a stick, and the student suffered injuries and fell unconscious as a result.
The SHO further said that the student suffered serious injuries to his mouth and face, adding that the school has also initiated an inquiry against the teacher.

According to the father of the student, his son was badly beaten up by the teacher, and he was taken to the hospital on Tuesday but was discharged a day later.
Mohammed Asif has been teaching science subjects, including chemistry and physics, at the school. In 2023, an incident where a teacher, Tripta Tyagi, at Neha Public School in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar instructed students to beat their classmate, creating social media uproar against the accused teacher. The video of the incident had gone viral on social media.
