Bengaluru: Frustrated Employees Hire Goons To Beat Up Senior; Five Arrested

Bengaluru police arrested a group of five for beating up an employee of a private firm. The five membered gang was hired to kill the employee named Suresh by his own colleague who were frustrated by him. Allegedly, Suresh put pressure on the employees and even pulled them up before the heads of the company.

Suresh is an auditor at Heritage Milk Product company located at East Bengaluru. The five individual who were accused have been identified as Umashankar, Vinesh, Sandeep and two others, said media report. Video footage captured on a vehicle’s dashboard showed Suresh being mercilessly beaten up with an iron rod by a group of people on a public road.

The video footage circulated on social media platforms gaining widespread condemnation. After Netizens brought the issue to the attention of Bengaluru City police by tagging the official account of them, the police took appropriate action against the miscreants.

Reportedly, Suresh pressured Umashankar and Vinesh to expedite their work processes, especially in clearing the daily transactions, a task which previously demanded several days to complete. Frustrated by the demands, Umashankar and Vinesh purportedly sought the gang to carry out the assault on Suresh.

The violent attack on the Heritage Milk Product employee took place near Kalyan Nagar on the Outer Ring Road on March 31. After the spreading of the attack, the Hennur police station immediately initiated investigation, which led to the arrest of five individuals on April 5.
