Elon Musk has found himself at the centre of an unexpected rumour mill after recent photos surfaced of him with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Social media users were quick to speculate about a possible romance, with one X user boldly claiming, “Calling it now. They’re ba**ing.”
Musk, never one to shy away from responding online, immediately shut down the rumour, replying simply, “False.”
As the internet continued to buzz with curiosity, another X user suggested, “We all know what happened next…” Musk was quick to clarify the situation, stating, “Was there with my Mom. There is no romantic relationship whatsoever with PM Meloni.”
When asked more directly by a follower if he thought they might date, Musk reiterated his stance, replying, “We are not dating.”
Despite the chatter, Musk has made it clear that there’s nothing more to the photos than a professional encounter, with no sparks flying between him and the Italian leader.

Giorgia Meloni, born in 1977, is Italy’s first female Prime Minister and the leader of the Brothers of Italy party. Known for her conservative views, Meloni has been in a long-term relationship with journalist Andrea Giambruno. The couple shares a daughter, Ginevra, born in 2016. Though not married, Meloni and Giambruno maintained a stable family life while navigating their respective high-profile careers.
However, in October last year, Giorgia Meloni announced split with partner Andrea Giambruno. The reason behind the split was alleged to be the “sexist” comments made by the Italian Journalist on his TV news programme. As per report, Mr. Giambruno had been under massive criticism over his “unwanted sexual advances” made towards his female colleagues.
In one “explicit” recording, Mr. Giambruno, can be heard talking about an affair and speaking to his female colleagues about how they could work for him if they “engage in group sex with him”.
Giorgia Meloni said her relationship with Mr. Giambruno which lasted for ten years “ends here”. She said she was grateful for the ten “splendid” years they spent together. on her Instagram platform, Georgia Meloni expressed her gratitude for all the difficulties the ex-couple had endured and for giving her “for the most important thing in my life” , which is their daughter Ginerva.
