PM Modi Shares Photos With Italy PM Giorgia Meloni After Rome Meet: 'Talks To Boost Friendship'
Rome, Italy: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, May 20, shared photos of him with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni after a private dinner followed by a visit to the iconic Colosseum in the country’s capital city, Rome.
Sharing the snippets from the meeting on social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “We exchanged perspectives on a wide range of subjects,” adding that he is looking forward to their talks today, where they will continue the conversation on how to boost the India-Italy friendship.

Prime Minister Modi, currently in Rome for the fifth and final stop of his five-nation tour, on Wednesday shared photos from his meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. While previous visits by the Prime Minister to Italy were gatherings like the G7 and G20, this stands as his first official, standalone bilateral tourn to the Italy.

During the visit, PM Modi received Varanasi painting from an Italian artist, that depicted the Ganges riverfront with colorful temples, boats, and shimmering reflections.
