Struggling with a toxic work culture with a severe lack of respect, bullying, micromanagement, and lack of transparency can be highly dangerous for an individual’s mental and physical health. Meet Aniket, a sales associate by profession, until he decides to quit his job in perhaps the best way possible.

A viral Instagram video by Anish Bhagat has amassed over a million views, with people celebrating and revelling in Aniket’s decision to leave his workplace and take his next step. In the video, Aniket and his friends decided to make his last day at work unforgettable. Dancing to the tunes of dhols, Aniket bid his farewell to his boss and exited the place in style as his boss watched the whole thing angrily and asked them to leave.

Hailing from a middle-class family, Aniket had been working at the organisation for over three years but claimed to have hardly received an increment in salary or basic respect from his superiors.

Sharing the video, his friend Bhagat wrote, “I think a lot of you are going to relate to this. Toxic work culture is so prominent these days. Lack of respect and entitlement is quite common. Aniket is ready to begin with his next step. I hope this story inspires people.”

Aniket has his own Instagram page, where he posts videos of training in the gym. His bio reads, “Coach and Transforming lives one workout at a time. Let”s crush your goals together!”

A user commented, “I don’t know why this made me feel so satisfied,” while another echoed, “The dance gave me another level of satisfaction.”
