Manchester City Premier League Champions

Manchester City was crowned the English Premier League champions for the fourth consecutive time in the last four seasons and the 10th time in the history of the English top-tier football league. The whole league was drawn to the last match day, as winning, drawing, and losing scenarios for Manchester City were a deciding factor for determining the winner, with runner-up Arsenal only two points behind the Citizens. Meanwhile, Arsenal drew in their last match, which wouldn’t have influenced the results for Manchester City anyway. Manchester City and Arsenal finished the 203-24 season with 91 and 89 points respectively.

This is sixth trophy for the Manchester side managed by the legendary Spanish coach by Pep Guardiola who joined the club in 2016.

On the last decisive day, Phil Foden (2) and Rodri (1) scored for Manchester City while Mohammed Kudus scored the only goal for their opponents West Ham.

At Emitates, Arsenal defeated Everton for 2-1, which Tomiyasu and Havertz scored for the Gunners. Idirssa Gueye scored Everton”s only goal. Liverpool, 2019-20 winners, finished third (82 points) while a resurgent Aston Villa is placed fourth and, all these teams have been qualified for the UEFA Champions League. London-side Tottenham is at the fifth place and has qualified for the Europe League.
