PSG”s Italian player Marco Verratti will join Qatar club Al-Arabi in a €45 million transfer. Football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano claims a verbal agreement was finally sealed with the PSG middle fielder on Sunday.

The 30-year-old was chased by multiple European clubs this summer including Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Chelsea but was not able to come into an agreement. The midfielder had spent 11 years in Paris Saint-German after joining in 2012.
Though the Europe summer transfer window is now has been completed, the Qatar window will be open until September 18. Mr Romano reports that Verratti will travel to Doha in the next 24 hours to complete the transfer process.
Verratti has made more than 400 appearances and is now the second player in the cub history to play 400 matches after Jean-Marc Pilorget. In addition to the game, he has scored 11 goals for the team. He has won nine Ligue 1 titles, six Coupe de France, six Coupe de la Ligue and nine French Super Cups.
Verratti is known for his technical ability, tactical intelligence and defensive work-rate.
PSG signed Verratti from Pescara for a fee in the region of €12 million back in 2012. A move to Saudi Arabia was also considered by the star and offers came in but he opted for Qatar.
Lionel Messi to Inter Miami and Neymar to Al-Hilal were the other two top transfers from PSG which took place recently. Verratti is expected to appear in the match against Al Rayyan on September 24.
