Mohammed Siraj Presents Team India Jersey To Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy

T20 World Cup 2024 winner Mohammed Siraj presented a Team India jersey to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy during his felicitation ceremony on Tuesday.

The Hyderabad fast bowler was congratulated by the Chief Minister along with former India captain and ex-Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) president Mohammed Azharuddin along with Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Revenue Minister P. Srinivas Reddy and other Congress leaders were also present at the felicitation ceremony.

The felicitation comes after Siraj enjoyed his own victory parade on return to Hyderabad. He was greeted by plenty of fans on the streets as they chanted ‘Kohli Kohli’ on his welcome. Incidentally, he was the only fast bowler from Telangana, who was a part of the T20 World Cup 2024-winning squad.

The 30-year-old featured in only three matches in the marquee event, picking up one scalp. He was earlier felicitated along with Team India at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai following the victory parade from the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) in Nariman Point to the iconic stadium.

Overall, the Hyderabad fast bowler has featured in 13 T20Is, scalping 13 wickets with the best bowling figures of 4/17. He has an average of 30.07 with an economy rate of 7.97.
