T20 World Champions Team India To Be Rewarded INR 11 Crore By Maharashtra CM

T20 World Champions Team India will be rewarded INR 11 crore by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

The announcement was made after the felicitation of four Mumbai players — captain Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Yashashvi Jaiswal, and Shivam Dubey — at the central hall of the Vidhan Bhavan (state legislature complex).

The Maharashtra Chief Minister expressed his delight in Team India’s T20 World Cup 2024 win over arch-rivals Pakistan. He also singled out Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant catch at the boundary ropes to dismiss David Miller at the T20 World Cup 2024 final to guide the national team over the finish line.

Shinde also felicitated and noted the contributions made by Team India’s support staff Paras Mhambre and Arun Kanade. He commended the effort put in by the Mumbai Police for the arrangements and safe transition of Team India during the T20 World Cup 2024 victory parade.
