T20 Champions Team India set off on their delayed victory parade from the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) in Nariman Point to the iconic Wankhede Stadium after arriving late at the Mumbai airport.

As per the itinerary, the T20 World Champions were supposed to begin their victory parade at 05:00 pm and reach the Wankhede Stadium at 07:00 pm. However, the Rohit Sharma-led side left the Delhi airport at 03:42 pm and left for the open-top bus after the a short delay upon arrival at the Mumbai airport.

Following their arrival at the Wankhede Stadium, the T20 World Champions were welcomed on the balcony with vice-captain Hardik Pandya holding the prestigious silverware.

Led by Rohit Sharma, the national team, then, walked down to the pitch as the T20 World Cup 2024 winning squad danced and rejoiced in front of a jam-packed stadium.

The 2024 T20 World Champions were then felicitated for beating South Africa by seven runs in the final at Barbados.
