Paris 2024 silver medallist Neeraj Chopra will be in action at the Lausanne Diamond League 2024, starting on Thursday.

Chopra recorded his season best of 89.45m in Paris and will be looking to overcome the 90m barrier in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle that begins this week. He had participated in only one Diamond League this season due to a groin injury and despite that, he sits at the fourth place in the standings.

The World Champion was expected to undergo a surgery after the Paris 2024 but has postponed the treatment till the end of this season. Paris 2024 bronze medallist Anderson Peters and Tokyo 2020 silver medallist Jakub Vadlejch will be the key competitors for the double Olympic medallist at the Lausanne Diamond League.
