Who Is Himani Mor?

The 25-year-old Himani Mor is a tennis player. Hailing from Sonipat, she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports management and administration from the McCormack Isenberg School of Management in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Although some reports claim that she is studying at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire.

Daughter of Chand Ram, Himani has a brother called Himanshu, who is also a tennis player.

Before that, she pursued an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Physical Education at Delhi’s Miranda House. After her studies and competing at the national level for Delhi University, she participated in the 2017 World University Games in Taipei.

According to the All India Tennis Association (AITA) website, Himani’s career-best national ranking was 42 in singles and 27 in doubles in 2018. She started playing in 2018 only in AITA events.

“They have left the country for honeymoon, and I am not aware of the places where they are going. We wanted to keep it like that,” Neeraj Chopra’s uncle told PTI.

Chopra shared the news of his wedding, which came as a surprise to fans, with a post and a caption which read, “Starting new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after.”

An Indian track and field athlete specialising in javelin throw, Neeraj Chopra won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, becoming the first Indian to win the medal in athletics. His latest major performance is the silver medal in the Paris Olympics. His historic feat at Tokyo had earned him the prestigious Khel Ratna award, India’s highest sporting honour. His consistent performances and dedication to his craft have made him a national icon.
