Double Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra surpassed Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s endorsement fee to INR. 330 crore, becoming the most valuable non-cricketing figure in the country.

The Paris 2024 silver medallist’s endorsement fees is set to go higher after his second consecutive podium finish at the Olympics. As per a report in the Economic Times, based on the data available by financial advisory firm Kroll, his value is set to surge from USD 29.6 million to over USD 40 million (Rs 330 crore approx).

The ace Indian javelin thrower finished second at the Lausanne Diamond League 2024 on Friday, with a season-best throw of 89.49m, finishing behind Grenada’s Anderson Peters, who claimed the top spot with a throw of 90.81m while Julian Weber of Germany claimed the third spot with the best throw of 87.08m.

The top six javelin throwers in the season standings qualified for the Belgium final, slated to take place on September 14 while double Olympic medallist in Paris 2024 Manu Bhaker’s endorsement fee rose significantly after her history-making performance. She signed an endorsement fee of INR 1.5 crore with the soft drink brand ThumsUp.

The multiple World Cup gold medallist had an endorsement fee of INR 20-25 lakh ahead of her brilliant showing in the Paris 2024. That price has risen six to seven times with one deal ranging at around INR 1.5 crore already closed, as per a report in the Times of India.

“We have got about 40-odd inquiries in just the last 2-3 days. We are focusing right now on the long-term association deals, and we have closed a couple of endorsements,” said Neerav Tomar, CEO and MD of IOS Sports & Entertainment, the company that manages Manu, to Times of India.

However, long-term deals, remain the point of focus for Bhaker’s team with a few short-term endorsements still in line.
