Manchester United have teamed up with technology based firm Qualcom Snapdragon. They will be United”s shirt sponsor for the next season.

The tech firm has an existing partnership with the Premiere League giant but have decided to expand the collaboration even further.

Terms of the contracts are not yet published. It is recorded as the largest jersey deal in soccer according to the reports from sportico. ‘The current top deal is Real Madrid’s agreement with Emirates worth roughly $75 million a year. The new deal is also worth more than the $80 million a year General Motors paid before TeamViewer’ as per the report.

In 2021, United signed a five-year contract with German business software company Teamviewer.

A short press release from MUFC read: “Manchester United PLC has agreed to an expanded strategic collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc, that will see the Snapdragon brand displayed on the club”s famous shirts.

Qualcomm Snapdragon was established in November 2007 and its renowned processors power premium products from the world”s biggest brands across smartphones, PCs, extended reality glasses, gaming devices, wearables, and connected cars.

However, United said in December that they had reached a “mutually-beneficial agreement” with TeamViewer giving the club the option of buying back the rights to its shirt front sponsorship, reuters reported.

United have signed a 900 million pounds deal with Adidas in July, renewing their partnership with its official kit supplier for 10 more years.

United seems putting up new plans to make new four signings for the next summer after bringing in seven players this year, as per the Manchester Evening News. Andre Onana, Mason Mount, Rasmus Hojlund were signed for £183million combined. They were then followed by Altay Bayindir, Jonny Evans, Sergio Reguilon and Sofyan Amrabat on deadline day.
