Star Sports, the official broadcasters for the 2024 T20 World Cup in India, released a goosebumps-worthy promo for Team India ahead of the marquee event, slated to get underway from June 2.
The video, featuring premier Indian T20 players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja, displays the team’s best moments from the marquee event. The video features the song “Vande Mataram” in veteran singer Shankar Mahadevan’s voice.

Following the IPL 2024, the 2024 T20 World Cup is set to begin in the USA and the West Indies. Team India are placed in Group A alongside Canada, Pakistan, USA and Ireland.
The Rohit Sharma-led side will begin their campaign against Ireland on June 5. They will later take on arch-rivals Pakistan on June 9, followed by matches against hosts United States on June 12 and minnows Canada on 15th.
Team India had won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007 and will be chasing their second title. The Team India squad for the marquee event is set to be announced by the Ajit Agarkar-led selection panel at the end of April.
