Once again the world”s largest wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has came back to India with a three-hour live event called the WWE Superstar Spectacle, on Friday.
India had waited long six years for WWE to return and the dream team of John Cena and Seth Rollins wrestled a perfect match and defeated The Imperium”s Lugwig Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in a tag-team main event held at Hyderabad.
Wrestler John Cena received a grand welcome from fans as he arrives at Hyderabad wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and cap.
John Felix Anthony Cena is an American professional wrestler a 16-time world champion. The 46-year old is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time and is also now a Hollywood star.
It was Mr Cena”s first ever wrestling experience in India and the star previously shared his excitement to wrestle here.
“WWE Superstar Spectacle will be an experience that means the world to me, excited to get to WWE India”, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) then.

The Hyderabad show began with what appeared to be a standard tag team match, but it swiftly evolved into an explosive 6-man showdown as Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal made their surprise entrances.
Wrapping an end to the opening contest, the team comprising McIntyre, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn emerged victorious, overcoming the combined forces of Indus Sher and Mahal in a thrilling battle.
In the third match of the evening Gunther defeat Shanky to continue his reign as the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion before the interval.
“A great pleasure meeting you John Cena. Thank you for being so kind and warm”, wrote Tamil actor Karthi on social media after meeting Mr Cena.
