Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Air India, said: “Connectivity is now an integral part of modern travel. For some, it is about the convenience and comfort of real-time sharing, while for others, it is about greater productivity and efficiency. Whatever one’s purpose, we are confident that our guests will appreciate having the option of connecting to the web and enjoying the new Air India experience on board these aircraft.”
It’s worth noting that the Wi-Fi service will depend on satellite connectivity and bandwidth usage. Additionally, the service will be available under relevant government restrictions.
Air India also plans to roll out this service on other aircraft in its fleet over time. For now, passengers on domestic flights can enjoy this convenient and free service.
