Apple Discontinues 3 Major iPhone Models, Including iPhone 14
Apple has stopped selling three of its iPhone models: the iPhone SE, iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Plus. This is said to be on account of the introduction of a new phone called the iPhone 16e.
The iPhone 16e is priced at Rs 59,900 and has many new features like a better camera, a faster chip, and Apple Intelligence. It takes the place of the iPhone 14, which was sold at the same price.
The old iPhone SE, which was the cheapest iPhone at Rs 47,600, is no longer available. Apple doesn’t have a new, affordable iPhone to replace it.
Apple has also removed all small-screen phones and devices with old features like Lightning ports, Touch ID, and LCD displays from its lineup. The company now only sells newer iPhone models like the iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Pro.

Even though the iPhone 14 is not on Apple’s website anymore, you can still buy it from other sellers. But if you want a big-screen iPhone at a lower price, you’ll have to choose the more expensive iPhone 15 Plus because the iPhone 14 Plus is no longer available.
Apple’s CEO Tim Cook introduced the new iPhone 16e on Wednesday, which will cost $599 and feature Apple Intelligence.
The iPhone 16e is designed to rival other affordable smartphones, such as the Google Pixel 8A and Samsung’s Galaxy S24 FE.

This new phone replaces the iPhone SE and is the first update to Apple’s lowest-priced smartphone line since 2022. The iPhone 16e has a durable aerospace-grade aluminium enclosure, available in black or white, and supersized battery life, lasting up to 6 hours longer than the iPhone 11 and up to 12 hours longer than the iPhone SE.
The iPhone 16e also features the latest-generation chip, making it fast and smooth, and a 4-core GPU for demanding mobile games. The phone has a redesigned 48MP Fusion camera with a 2x telephoto lens, allowing for stunning super-high-resolution images and 4K video in Dolby Vision.
