Nvidia, the AI chips and software maker has launched its latest compact generative AI supercomputer, the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit.

This powerful device is said to be designed to provide hobbyists, developers and students with a cost-effective solution for building and deploying AI applications.


Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said that the Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit boasts impressive specs, including a 1.7x gain in generative AI performance a 70% increase in performance to 67 INT8 TOPS and a 50% increase in memory bandwidth to 102GB/s compared to its predecessor.

This compact device is said to be remarkably affordable, priced at just $249 (Rs 21,145.83) down from $499 (Rs 42,377.57).

The Jetson Orin Nano Super is also designed to support popular generative AI models that will make it an ideal solution for a wide range of applications, from creating LLM chatbots to building visual AI agents and deploying AI-based robots.
