Dell, the American tech company announced on Tuesday that they shook hands with chipmaker Qualcomm and tech giant Microsoft to unveil new consumer Copilot laptops with AI capabilities in India. The company prepared to launch a new XPS and Inspiron line-up of Copilot+ AI PCs with Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus processors.

The new XPS 13 Copilot PC is equipped with Artificial Intelligence so that the user can be a co-creator, add live captions and feature Windows studio effects. Pujan Chadha, Dell Technologies, stated that the company is gearing up to provide the latest trend in personal computing infused with AI capabilities to satisfy customer demand. The new PCs offer top-notch performances, and seamless connectivity and enable users to multitask and experience a new world of AI technology.

It is the first time that the company is using Qualcomm in Dell’s personal computers and laptops. Saurabh Arora at the Qualcomm company said that the collaboration with Dell would benefit the PC ecosystem in India which further adds an exceptional pedigree in terms of innovation and excellence. The new XPS 13 with AI capabilities and a Qualcomm sensing Hub for high performance, productivity and magnificent features.

The new XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus Copilot+ PC are now available to customers as the sale started on July 16 and can be purchased both online and offline with a starting price of Rs 1,39,990 and 115,590 severally. In June Dell’s competitor, HP India unwrapped two new Capilot+ branded laptops, EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X for retail customers and businesses. These laptops are based on the ARM architecture which claims to offer better performance and power efficiency powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor.
