New Delhi, India: A three-day intensive boot camp, AI Academy India 2024 was organized by IHFC, the Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) of IIT Delhi in partnership with Google for Startups on November 29, 2024.
The program aimed to help early-stage startups leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to address global challenges.
The boot camp, supported by MeitY Startup Hub welcomed 33 startups from Delhi NCR for hands-on training, expert mentorship and access to Google’s AI technologies. The selected startups will also receive incubation support and funding up to 50 lakhs from IHFC.
The participating startups addressed diverse challenges, such as education, climate change, fintech, and healthcare, using AI-powered solutions. The boot camp provided support to startups leveraging AI with specialized resources, mentorships, training and access to infrastructure.
Prof S.K. Saha, Project Director, IHFC, said, “The support provided by Google for Startups is amazing. We aim to empower and educate startups in AI, which is essential for businesses today.”
The boot camp discussed designing human-centred, secure AI solutions through workshops on People + AI, Responsible AI, and product design. The program also included hands-on workshops on Generative AI, app development, and Web AI.

The boot camp is also being held in six other cities across India in partnership with various organisations in partnership with Kerala Startup Mission, IIMA Ventures, T-Hub & MATH, NSRCEL IIM Bangalore, SINE IIT Bombay, IIT Madras Incubation Cell along with NASSCOM AI and People+ai from November to December 2024.
