Instagram Rolls Out New Photo Editing & Sticker Creation Features.

One of the most used social media platforms Instagram by Meta is rolling out new features exclusively for direct messages (DM). There are a bunch of features already, but the company is making it more accessible which may allow users to edit photos without leaving the messaging interface.

As per The Verge, Instagram users can now access the sticker creator from the D interface which will allow users to select a photo from the gallery and use it as a cutout to send it as a reaction sticker. WhatsApp has the feature already as it rolled out a similar feature early this year and Instagram is now bringing it to the direct message section of the app.

The enhanced message features also allow users to add stickers or draw over a photo before sending it to a friend. This was earlier available that the user has to go back to stories draw a particular thing, save it to photos and then send it to a friend. The new feature will now allow users to do it directly from the DM interface.

The Meta-owned Instagram also rolled out another feature that will allow users to craft a creative note on someone’s birthday. If your friend/follower taps on the note, the confetti animation pops up along with a cake image on the screen.

Earlier in August,  Instagram introduced a new feature that lets users add a song to their profile as the user can add a 30-second song to their profile. This feature comes with another new update that will allow users to include new colour options for Instagram Notes. Instagram Users can select the song/music they like and add it to their profile bio. This is very much similar to the social media app Myspace. Instagram has already Introduced a feature ‘adding music to posts,’ early this year and now anyone can add their best-loved tracks to their bio but not more than 30 seconds.
