Xiaomi is all set to launch the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 series on October 26. The Xiaomi 14 series includes the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. The launch event will be held in China. The main highlight of the Xiaomi 14 series is that it is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The Xiaomi 14 series will be the world”s first to arrive with this chipset. Qualcomm unveiled this flagship chip during the Snapdragon Summit 2023, held on October 24.

The Xiaomi 14 is expected to feature a 6.36-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro model may have a 6.6-inch flat AMOLED display with a 2K resolution. Both devices are expected to include a punch-hole notch design. While the Xiaomi 14 is said to have a 4,600mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, the Pro model may arrive with a 4,860mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The company has also made significant upgrades in the camera department of the devices. Reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Pro might be equipped with a Sony IMX989 sensor.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will debut as the successors to the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, respectively. Xiaomi”s latest devices will run the HyperOS operating system. The all-new HyperOS, which is an indigenous Android-based operating system, will replace the MIUI on Xiaomi phones. According to the Android Authority, HyperOS is based on the integration of the deeply evolved Android and Xiaomi”s self-developed Vela system. According to Alvin Tse, Xiaomi’s Vice President for India, the new operating system will provide hyper performance, fluidity, and connectivity across different ranges of Xiaomi products.
