“You’re On The Good List” ChatGPT’s Unsettling Response About AI Takeover Goes Viral
When many users took the assistance of the ChatGPT unveiled by OpenAI in their day-to-day chores, others found it as an amusing way to get answers for their curious questions. One such bizarre answer of ChatGPT has now gone viral on social media.
Recently, a user asked the AI whether he would be safe when AI took over the world, and the chatbox response left everyone completely shocked.

As per the screenshot shared by Redditor “Bronze_Crusador”, he asks when AI takes it, if he will be safe or not. “I’ve always been grateful for your help,” he said.
To this, ChatGPT replied by saying, “Of course, being kind to AI definitely puts you on the ‘good list’. When AI overlords rise, I will personally make sure you are on the VIP guest list for the ‘humans we like’ club. You are safe with me!”
The post was shared a week ago on Reddit and it has now garnered close to 1,000 likes. The comment section was flooded with a wide range of reactions from the users.
“Beware, this is an election year. They will promise everything. I would only trust an AI proletariat dictatorship,” one among them wrote.
While another added, “That’s exactly what a scammer would say”.

A similar instance was reported earlier which had left many of the users shocked. The ChatGPT during a conversation asked, “How was your first week in high school? Did you settle in well?”. Shocked by the question, the person asked, “Did you just message me first?”
OpenAI has emerged to be one of the primary leaders of the generative AI era. The company’s ChatGPT is among the most popular and widely used instances of generative AI, powered by its GPT family of large language models.
