Addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Bikaner on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it is not blood but “warm sindoor” that runs through his veins, underlining India’s stance against terrorism. This was his first public address after Operation Sindoor, India’s military retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam attack that left 26 people dead.

The Prime Minister stated that in response to the attack on April 22, India destroyed nine of the biggest terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in 22 minutes. He asserted that India had given its military a free hand, resulting in the elimination of approximately 100 terrorists associated with groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen.
