Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his first public address after ‘Operation Sindoor’ – India’s military retaliation for the Pahalgam attack – declared in Rajasthan’s Bikaner on Thursday that the terror incident had been avenged within just 22 minutes. In an emotive tone, the Prime Minister said, “Not blood, sindoor boils in my veins,” drawing a symbolic link between cultural pride and national retaliation.
Speaking at the rally, PM Modi remarked, “The enemies of the world and the country have seen what happens when vermilion turns into gun powder.” He added that the entire nation was affected by the Pahalgam attack, saying, “Those bullets were fired in Pahalgam, but those bullets pierced the hearts of 140 crore countrymen.”
