Ayatollah Ali Khamenei 'Martyred': Iran-State Media Confirm Killing Of Supreme Leader

Tehran, Iran: Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed during joint attack by Israel and the United States, confirms Iranian state controlled media, Press TV.

Khamenei’s daughter, son-in-law, and grandson were also killed during the predawn strike, the report confirmed. Khamenei was killed at his office while performing his assigned duties in the early hours of Saturday, the report added.

The fars agency has reported that the government has declared 40 days of public mourning in the wake of Khamenei’s killing.
