The Royal Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton break their silence on the Palestine-Israel conflict. Taking to the social media platform X (formerly twitter), the official page of Prince and Princess of the Kensington Palace shared a statement by the spokesperson of the Prince and Princess saying the royalties “utterly condemn” the attack inflicted upon Israel by the “Hamas terrorists”.

The statement read that the Prince and Princess are “ profoundly distressed” by the “unfolding” of the “devastating events” and said that the “horrors inflicted by Hamas terrorist attack on Israel” are “ appalling”. The statements said that the “Royal Highnesses” have all the victims and their families and friends in their hearts.

Kate and William also stated that as the Israel started to practice their “right of self defence”, both Israelis and Palestinians will be “stalked by grief, fear and anger in the time to come”. The Highnesses also said that they will continue to share hope without reservation.

King Charles from Buckingham Palace is also “extremely concerned” by the happenings in Israel and Palestine. The Buckingham Palace spokesperson said that the King’s thoughts and prayers are with those who suffers, especially those who lost their loved ones.

King Charles had visited Israel and Palestine, interacting with people and visiting his grandmother, Princess Alice”s grave. Princess Alice was honoured by Israel for her bravery in offering shelter to Jews from Nazis. Prince William also visited Israel and Palestine in 2018 and accentuated his wish for the “just and lasting peace” in the “land of conflicts”.
