Iran targeted the US ‌aircraft carrier ​USS Abraham ⁠Lincoln with ‌four ballistic ‌missiles ‌on Sunday, says ⁠Iran’s Islamic ⁠Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

One of the two aircraft ‌carriers deployed to the region in recent ‌weeks by the US, the aircraft carrier was struck by four ballistic missiles. The Iranian Guard force said that the land and sea will increasingly become the “graveyard of the terrorist aggressors.”

The USS ​Lincoln aircraft carrying it was reportedly relatively close ⁠to Iranian shores. Iran’s retaliatory strikes comes following US-Israel combined attack across Iranian cities and the killing of the country’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

However, the US Central Command in a social media post denied the Iranian claim, stating that Iran’s IRGC claims to have struck USS Abraham Lincoln with ballistic missiles is “lie”

“The Lincoln was not hit. The missiles launched didn’t even come close. The Lincoln continues to launch aircraft in support of CENTCOM’s relentless campaign to defend the American people by eliminating threats from the Iranian regime,” the US Central Command wrote on X.
