Houthis Attack Saudi Arabia's Aramco Gas Facility In Jubail Region, Explosions Reported
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: After explosions reported from an industrial facility in Saudi Arabia’s eastern region, local media has confirmed that fire was seen at a gas facility in the kingdom’s Jubail region.
Reports stated that Yemen’s Houthis are behind the attack that targeted the gulf nation’s biggest oil company. Houthis reportedly struck a Saudi Aramco gas plant in Al Jubail.

A loud blast was heard in the area, as per Anadolu Agency. Iranian state news media the gas facility has been caught fire in the attack. Aramco’s industrial security teams has brought the fire under control.
The gas refinery processes 400,000 barrels of crude oil per day and produces refined products including gasoline and ultra-light sulfur diesel. On July 27, the facility has shut down following an attack by Yemen’s Houthi militants that damaged the plant’s Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) complex and tank farm area.
