Israel Arrests Al Shifa Hospital Director Along With "Number Of His Colleagues"
Israeli army arrested Muhammad Abu Salmiya, director of Al Shifa hospital, according to AFP. The director of Al Shifa hospital, which was invaded by Israeli hospital in the name of Hamas tunnel under the hospital, was arrested with several other “senior doctors”, said department chief of the hospital, Khalid Abu Samra to AFP.
The news of arrest was posted on X (formerly twitter), by Mr. Salmiya’s cousin, Adham Abu Salmiya. His post read, “the Zionist terror army arrests my cousin Dr. Muhammed Abu Salmiya”. He added that a “number of his colleagues” were also arrested with the hospital Director.

“Dr Muhammed Abu Salmiya, the director of Al Shifa medical complex, has been arrested by the Israeli occupation forces. And even earlier, two Palestinian paramedics had been arrested by the Israeli occupation force”, said Al Jazeera correspondent from the ground.
The Israeli broadcaster Kan reported Mr. Salmiya was questioned by Shin Bet, an Israeli intelligence. In a statement, Hamas resistance group has condemned the arrest of the M. Salmiya. The statement read, “we consider it a despicable act that only comes from an entity that lacks all sense of humanity and morals, in addition to being a crime and a flagrant violation of international conventions that guarantee no attacks against medical personnel at all times”, as quoted by Al Jazeera.
Earlier, the occupation force posted videos claiming to find the alleged tunnels of Hamas beneath the largest hospital of the enclave. Israeli occupation force and their claim about Hamas command centre beneath Al Shifa hospital has been making it to the frontline for past few days. Amid their apocalyptic bombing on the civilians of Gaza, the Israeli Defense Force and their spokesperson were busy with “tunnel operation”.
The IDF has posted videos and drone footages that goes inside the tunnel which they said were under the largest hospital of the besieged enclave. The occupation force tried hard to bring out proof of Al Shifa being used as command centre for “terror activities” by Hamas.
