Kuwait: Doors Wide Open For Students, 2023-24 Academic Year Started Today

The curtain has raised for the 2023-2024 academic year in Kuwait. About 382,000 students belonging to primary, intermediate and secondary level and about 43,500 university students began their 2023-2024 academic year today.

The Kuwait University has prepared administrative, academic and technical capabilities in all departments, colleges and at the University to receive new and continuing students. Kuwait has spared no stone unturned in providing felicitous academic atmosphere for students. They gave deep care in preparing buildings, laboratories, study halls and parking lots within the University.

Fayez Al – Dhufairi, Acting Director of Kuwait University stated that he hoped this academic year to be a distinguished year full of achievements at the educational, academic and student levels. He asked the students to be diligent, hardworking and persevering from the first day of the academic year itself as they are the nations most valuable investment and Kuwait”s renaissance and progress will be through them. He also congratulated entire University family, students, administrative body and all of the employees.

Mansour Al – Saad, the CEO of Kuwait Public Transportation Company (KPTC) announced the launch of 760 buses to serve 16,500 students as the company”s implementation of “K-SCHOOL” strategy as reported by Al-Seyassah daily.

About 160,745 students will attend primary level this year. 129, 832 students in intermediate level and 91,578 students in secondary level will attend school this year. The Kuwait University, which include 15 colleges welcomes 7,533 new students this year.
