Qatar Airways Resumes Flight Operations To Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, And Jordan

Qatar Airways has resumed their full flight operations to Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria following the lifting of airspace restrictions in the region. From June 30, 2025 onwards, Qatar Airways’ operation to five destinations in Iraq will resume. Qatar Airways currently flies to over 170 destinations worldwide, connecting through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport.

Qatar Airways, on its X account announcing the resumption, wrote, “Qatar Airways is pleased to announce the latest updates to its flight schedule in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan: Beginning on 30 June 2025, Qatar Airways will resume operations at five destinations in Iraq.”

As per its statement, the airline will resume its daily service to Syria from July 6 onwards. “The service will be complemented by a double daily schedule that will begin on 15 July.”

It also added that beginning from July 1, its operation will resume its full schedule to Lebanon’s Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) and Jordan’s Alia International Airport (AMM).

As per the schedule details posted by Qatar Airways on their official website, 16 weekly flights are allotted to Baghdad International Airport, 10 weekly flights to Erbil International Airport, seven flights to Sulaymaniyah International Airport, five weekly flights to Al Najaf International Airport, seven weekly flights to Basra International Airport, 14 weekly flights to Syria, 21 to Beirut, and 21 to Amman.
