Hamas, after the Tesla CEO visited Israel and came in support of the Israeli Defence Forces, has extended and invitation to Elon Musk to visit Gaza Strip to witness the extend of destruction in the blockaded enclave.
Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan stated in a press conference in Beirut that they were inviting him to visit Gaza to observe the extent of the massacres and destruction committed against the people of Gaza, in compliance with the standards of objectivity and credibility.
The official added that within 50 days, Israel had dropped more than 40,000 tonnes of explosives on the homes of defenseless Gazans.
Hamas”s invitation to the billionaire entrepreneur came on Tuesday. Days ago, the X owner, who had recently faced backlash over some purported anti-semitic comments on X by him, had visited a kibbutz targeted by Hamas gunmen during the October 7 attack along with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and announced his commitment to do whatever was necessary to stop the spread of hatred.
Upon Musk”s arrival, Israel announced a preliminary agreement to utilize SpaceX”s Starlink communications channel in Gaza. This marked a significant change for Israel, as its communication minister had previously rejected the idea, citing concerns that Hamas would exploit Starlink for “terrorist activities.”
