Vehicle Carrying Indian Nationals Overturns In Oman, 1 Malayali Killed, Several Injured

Oman: At least one person died and nine injured after a vehicle carrying Indian nationals overturned and veered off a road in Oman. The accident took place on Sultan Said bin Taimur Road in the Wilayat of Haima on Saturday, August 22.

Rescue officials airlifted two of the injured to Nizwa Hospital for further treatment. The other passengers were taken to the same hospital by ambulance. The details regarding other information has not been made public.

According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP) Air Wing, which carried out an emergency medical evacuation, the vehicle developed a problem and veered off the road, causing the accident.

The Air Wing operation was carried out to ensure the rapid transfer of two of the injured to the hospital.
