New York, United States: A mass shooting occurred at Amazura nightclub in Queens at 11.20 pm, Wednesday. The gunman has reportedly fired around 11 people, leaving many injured, reports New York Post.
The incident happened at the Amazura Night Club, located at 91-12 144th Pl, Jamaica, Queens, New York, and follows the New Orleans’ French Quarter attack on New Year’s Day, killing at least 15 people and injuring many others, when a man intentionally drove a pickup truck into a crowd of revelers on Bourbon Street. The Federal Bureau of Investigation suspects it to be an act of terrorism, claiming that they noticed a black ISIS flag in the truck’s rear bumper.

The latest nightclub attack, a day after the Orleans incident, has raised safety concerns among the public. The police are yet to release the details of the incident and the condition of those victims of the mass shooting. The victims have bee rushed to nearby hospitals, and none of them have been in critical, according to reports.
The incident has prompted a significant emergency response, with additional ambulances and police units dispatched to the scene, and the police suspect the incident to be an act of mass shooting.
