Car Crashes Into US President Joe Biden's Motorcade In Delaware

A car crashed into an SUV guarding US President Joe Biden”s motorcade near his campaign headquarters in Delaware on Sunday night. The Associated Press reported that the incident happened while Joe Biden was leaving a visit to his campaign headquarters. The report also said that the US President and first lady, Jill Biden, were unharmed.

As per the White House press pool report, a silver sedan with Delaware license plates hit a US Secret Service vehicle in the president”s motorcade. The vehicle was being used to close off intersections near the headquarters for the president”s departure. The sedan then also tried to continue into a closed-off intersection. Reports suggest that US Secret Service agents, who are responsible for protecting the US President, quickly surrounded the sedan after the incident and pulled weapons on the driver, who held his hands up.

Secret service agents escorted President Biden to his car after the collision. Reuters, citing a witness, reported that Joe Biden and Jill Biden returned safely to their home in Wilmington following the incident. The White House or the Secret Service has not yet given any official statement on this matter.
