Reposting an X (formerly twitter) that pointing out the triviality of case for which Trump was convicted. The user named Geiger Capital highlighted that the first felony conviction on a former US President was not for Iraq, Afghanistan wars, illegal CIA coups or any such things, but for rather a misclassified “$130,000 payment for a porn star’s NDA”. He said the issue “tells you everything you need to know”.

The Tesla owner responded that “indeed a great damage was done today to the public’s faith in the American legal system”. Musk said that if a former President can be criminally convicted over such trivial matte, which is motivated by politics, rather than justice, anyone would be at risk of similar fate.

Earlier, there were reports suggesting that Donald Trump was considering to offer Musk a advisory role in the White House if he was to be re-elected. Musk denied the allegation. He said, “there have not been any discussions of a role for me in a potential Trump Presidency”.

The tense relation between Musk and Trump has improved lately, as they connect with each other on the phone “several times a month”. Earlier, the billionaire clarified the allegations that he is planning to help Trump in clearing his legal troubles. Musk said that he do not have any intentions to donate to Trump campaign or aid him in clearing his mounting legal bills.

Elon Musk earlier revealed that he voted for Joe Biden over Donald Trump during the 2020 election. In 2022 Musk asked voters to elect a Republican Congress during the midterm election in order to counterbalance Joe Biden’s Democrats. Musk also put forward the argument that Biden is encouraging migrant flow to Washington so that they can vote for Democrats.

Earlier in 2022, Elon Musk tweeted that, “my preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far”.
