Gurpatwant Singh Pannun Vows To ‘Shake The Foundations Of Parliament’ On December 13

US based pro-Khalistan terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun released a video in which he threatened to take actions which will “shake the very foundations of Parliament” on or before December 13. He said that this decision was taken in response to “India’s foiled assassination” bid on him.

In the released video, he featured himself in a poster along with Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru along with a caption “Delhi Banega Khalistan”. December 13 marks the anniversary of 2001 attack on Parliament. The convict of the attack was hanged in 2013, reports The Times of India.

Due to Pannun’s threat, the Indian security agencies and Delhi Police are stepping up security in and around New Delhi district to thwart any such bid by Sikh for Justice (SFJ) operatives.

The US had recently claimed to have thwarted a bid on Pannun”s life in June, allegedly by assassins having an Indian connection. Pannun holds dual citizenship of both US and Canada.

An Indian-origin drug trafficker named Nikhil Gupta, who has been accused of working with an undercover cop and for hiring an informant of Drug Enforcement Agency to kill Pannun, was detained by Czech authorities at Prague airport on June 30 at the US government’s request. Gupta was then handed over to US authorities around the first week of November. As the aftermath of the event,US accused, Taranjith Singh Sandhu, the India’s ambassador to the US, of being part of a purported plot to assassinate Pannun on US soil.

Pannun has been an offensive against India over past two years. There have been a series of allegation against the Khalistani separationist which includes, issuing of ‘kill posters’ naming top diplomats posted at missions.

Gurpawant Singh Pannun is a ‘Khalistani terrorist’ and head of the US based separatist organisation Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) which was banned in July 10, 2019. Mr Pannun was charged with 22 cases since 2017 including three sedition cases. Charges against him include calling youths for terrorist activities and funding terrorist activities in Punjab from abroad.
