As the Israel-Hamas tension is infelicitously rocketing with unbearable death tolls and casualties, the Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday accused the United States foreign policy as the cause of the explosion of violence. According to him, the US policy had failed in the Middle East and certainly put no place for the Palestinian resistance and the torments of Palestine people.

It was during his official visit to the Iraq Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia” Al Sudani, Mr Putin disclosed about his views on Palestine. The President affirmed his position on the issue as the Palestinian people are vested to live their life in “dignity and justice”. After the visit Iraq PMO shared the central thought of their discussion on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. The countries together called for an urgent action with the permanent members of the Security Council to stop the ongoing attacks.

Mr Putin, Reuters reports, took the opportunity to blame the escalation of the US policy in the war area in recent years. “I think that many people will agree with me that this is a vivid example of the failure of United States policy in the Middle East”, he said.

The Russian President also accused Washington for monopolising the efforts in forging peace and failing to seek workable compromises. He censured the US denial of Palestine requirement for an independent state. But he run off from Kremlin’s part in the Middle East peace process even though the Russian Federation is also a part of the Quartet along with United Nations, United States, and the European Union since 2002.

As Reuters reports, Mr Putin”s spokesperson Dimitry Peskov said, the Country is in constant touch with both the battle sides and is expecting a crucial role in resolving the conflict in an earlier possible way. The diplomat also warned the practicable diffusal of the dispute to the nearby lands. He hasn’t specified about how Kremlin plans forward to mediate and settle the issue, but said that the country participated in various diplomatic initiatives.

Meanwhile, the Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia’s interest in the issue and said that Kremlin is carrying out destabilising actions all around the world. He was speaking in an interview with the France 2 television channel. “We are certain that Russia is supporting, in one way or another, Hamas operations”, he said. Mr Zelensky condemned the tragedies on both sides and declared the world unity is very much depended on the unity of United States.

Earlier the Ukraine President compared Hamas to Russia, suggesting the infiltration of Hamas to Israel is similar to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
