"Unlikely To Survive The Night": Biden's Absence In Public Sparks Rumours
US Presidential elections are filled with twists. The latest in the dramatic days leading to the poll day in November was President Joe Biden dropping out of the race and endorsing for Vice President Kamala Harris. Biden has decided to stand down from the race as his health condition has become a major road block for the re-election.
After weeks of being subjected to scrutiny over concerns of his declining health issues, Biden has tested positive for Covid 19, and went to isolation at his beach house.
As he is away from the public eyes for the fifth consecutive days, online platforms are filled with speculations and rumours about serious deterioration in the president’s health.

A twitter handle named Global Press Corp said that a “verified source has informed the Global Press team that Joe Biden is currently in hospice care and is unlikely to survive the night”. It also tweeted a press release which is claimed to be issued by the White House. It is said that the White House abruptly cancelled all of President Biden’s Monday meetings. He had removed all meetings for the week. Notably, it was the only page that appeared to made the claim.

Another theory was a Democratic party “coup” against Biden. This was ignited by Republican candidate Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance. When asked if Biden’s dropping out of the election was a “coup against Joe Biden,” Donald Trump said “Sort of”.
Vance told Fox News, “Yeah, I think it is. I mean, look, there’s a constitutional process, the 25th Amendment. If Joe Biden can’t run for president, he can’t serve as president”.
Biden was last seen in public late on last Wednesday after arriving at a US air base in Dover, Delaware, after he was tested positive for Covid 19, after which he went for isolation in his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

At the same time, Biden’s physician said that he had completed his 10th dose of the Covid medication Paxlovid on Monday morning and continued to perform all of his presidential duties.
“His symptoms have almost resolved completely. His pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature remain absolutely normal. His oxygen saturation continues to be excellent on room air. His lungs remain clear”, said O’Connor in a letter.
Kamala Harris on Monday said the president is “feeling much better and recovering fast”. She made remarks while speaking at White House.
