American hedge manager, Bill Ackman and many other business leaders demanded Harvard University to release the list of students who signed in the letter that stated the Israel to be the sole reason for the attack unleashed by Hamas. The businessmen want the students to be “blacklisted”.
The Pershing Square Capital Management CEO wanted to make sure that he or others do not “inadvertently hire” any of the students who marked their signature in the letter. Some of the students refused to identify themselves as agreeing to or being part of the organization who signed on the letter.
The letter read that the “events” of Saturday did not appeared out of “vaccum” but was rather a response to the Israel’s activities as they “forced” the Palestinians to live in “ an open-air prison” for “two” decades. The holds the opinion that Palestine is going to “bear full brunt of Israel’s violence” as Israel has started to put money to their words “open gates of hell” in Gaza. The letter calls the Harvard community to take actions to stop the ongoing annihilation of Palestinians” as the “Palestinian ordeals enters into uncharted territory”.
As the letter started to receive backlashes, some of the students said they were not “aware” of the organizations they are part of doing such things.
Mr. Ackman said that the name of the “signatories” should be revealed as they should not be hiding behind “corporate shield” when they issued “statements supporting the actions of terrorists” and let the public know who they support for.
Mr. Ackman said either one can be entirely silent about the situation and let the world think they agree to it or they can resign from the body in “protest”. He “advised” the student about learning from the mistakes and the “best time to fix a mistake is now”.
Some advice for students:
If an organization of which you are a member puts out a public statement you disagree with, you have a few choices.
You can:
Stay silent and have the entire world conclude that you stand by the statement.
Convince the other members of the group to… https://t.co/WEZ4kzqLBf

Apart from Mr. Ackman, Business tycoons like Jonatha Neman, Larry Summers, Daniel Broukhim and Michael Broukhim were among those who demanded for the revealation of student names.
