
'No Graduation This Year In Gaza': Harvard Law Grads Show Solidarity Despite Trump's Crackdown
Despite the Trump administration’s crackdown on US universities and blocking of its financial aid to the top institutions in the US, the Harvard Graduates showed solidarity with Palestine and asked to call off investments in Israel to stop genocide in Gaza. Law School 2025 graduates show solidarity during the conferring of degrees.

The Harvard Grads Say, “FREE PALESTINE! At 2025 commencement, Harvard graduates refused to celebrate this institution while it profits off of Israel’s escalating genocide in Gaza. The student movement will not be silenced—not by Trump, not by Harvard’s administration. There is no graduation this year in Gaza, so we reclaim Harvard’s celebration for the people of Palestine”.

The Trump administration has been cracking down on immigration, especially international students, for various reasons, including violating visa terms, engaging in criminal activity, and participating in pro-Palestinian protests. Authorities have stated that there are anti-American people on the campuses, and have been haunting Harvard, accusing it of nurturing violence and antisemitism.
In a recent move US President Donald Trump revoked Harvard University to enroll international students. The move came amid ongoing investigation into Harvard after alleged ground to create an unsafe campus environment.

The US administration also accuses Harvard of promoting antisemitism and harbouring pro-Hamas sympathisers. The administration has made cuts in federal funding, totaling more than $2.6 billion, forcing the university to pursue a lawsuit accusing the administration of defying the US Constitution.
Reportedly, the pro-Palestine protests have been widespread on the US university campuses since the Israeli War on Gaza which has claimed life of around 56,000 and 124,054 injured. The ongoing blockade of humanitarian aid to Gaza has stirred further string of protests and condemnation all acorss the world.
