“We Should All Be Concerned”: Harris Calls Trump “Unstable”

On the question of how her nearly four years in the office went, Kamala Harris slammed Donald Trump. During her first ever interview with the conservative Fox News, Harris accused the news media of whitewashing Trump’s most incendiary rhetoric, including the former president calling political rivals “the enemy within.”

When anchor Bret Baier played a clip showing Trump speaking about political persecution, the Democrat said Trump had talked about turning the American military against the American people.

“He has talked about going after people who are engaged in peaceful protest. He has talked about locking people up because they disagree with him,” said Harris.

The interview came while Harris was seeking to appeal a number of undecided voters who have supported Republicans in the past. But they are reported to feel uneasy with Trump.

The Vice President campaign has targeted those voters in recent days – with the vice president campaigning alongside former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, the veterans of Trump’s administration and others in the party who split with the former president over his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

When asked about President Joe Biden’s mental acuity, Harris called Trump “unstable” and said “we should all be concerned.”

On the question of border crossings and violent crimes committed by undocumented immigrants during Joe Biden’s presidency, Harris hit at the Republican candidate Donald Trump for opposing bipartisan border security bill earlier this year.

During the interview, Harris differentiated herself from Biden more clearly than she has in the past. She told the anchor that she would bring new ideas and experiences to the White House.

“My presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency,” Harris said.
