The Bollywood sensation Rashmika Mandanna is here to take her acting to the next level after back-to-back hits ‘Animal’ and ‘Pushpa 2’. The actress who is on her dream run in the movies will next star opposite Salman Khan in the upcoming film ‘Sikandar’. 

The film directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala will release in theaters on Eid 2025. The makers have shared the announcement with a post on Instagram while welcoming the ‘Animal’ actor on board. 

This latest film of the actress will mark her maiden collaboration with Salman. The unusual pairing of Salman and Rashmika too is expected to create buzz among movie lovers when the film hits the big screen. 

Excited by the announcement, Rashmika wrote on X, “You guys for a long time have been asking me for the next update and here it is…Surprise!! I am truly grateful and honoured to be a part of #Sikandar”.

On Thursday, the makers confirmed Rashmika as the lead actress of the film, Sikandar. The filming of the action drama is slated to begin next month, in June. 

‘Sikandar’ also marks the reunion of Salman and Sajid Nadiadwala after the success of ‘Kick’ in 2014. 

Rashmika Mandanna made her Bollywood debut with Goodbye in 2022. She then subsequently starred in Mission Manju and Animal. The actress is now gearing up for the release of Pushpa: The Rule opposite to Allu Arjun in Telugu.
